“America’s Invitation” will encourage every American to be part of historic 250th commemorationNextdoor, YWCA USA join historic effort as official partners(Milwaukee, WI) – The United States Semiquincentennial Commission, also known as America250, the official nonpartisan entity charged with planning and orchestrating the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding, is kicking off the three-year countdown to 2026 with “America’s Invitation,” a new nationwide public awareness and engagement campaign encouraging every American to be part of this historic commemoration.America250 will launch America’s Invitation on Independence Day at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisc., when the Milwaukee Brewers host their historic division rivals, the Chicago Cubs. America250 is also proud to announce that Nextdoor, an app dedicated to connecting neighborhoods, and YWCA USA, the nation’s oldest and largest women’s organization, have officially joined America250 as partners.Pre-game programming will feature the debut of the America’s Invitation launch video and a press conference with key partners and guests. Fans will have the opportunity to learn more about America250 and participate directly in "America’s Invitation" by visiting a booth located on the concourse and recording a video that tells their own American story.“America’s 250th anniversary belongs to all of us, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to be a part of it.
